Privacy Policy

TunnelBahn is built to keep your data on your Mac. We don't run accounts, and the app contains no analytics, tracking or advertising SDKs.

In the app

• VPN profiles, keys and settings are stored locally on your Mac, with private keys in your Keychain. They are never sent to us.
• Your traffic goes to the VPN or SSH servers that you configure, never to us.
• License and trial. Your license key, and the date your trial started, are stored locally in your Keychain. The license key contains the name and email you purchased with. Keys are checked offline.
• Update check. Unless you turn it off in Settings → Updates, the app downloads a small file (latest.json) from this website about once a day. The request carries only what any web request does: your IP address, and a user agent naming the app and macOS version.
• Logs stay on your Mac unless you choose to share them.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, under Paddle's privacy policy. From Paddle we receive the name, email address, country and order details needed to issue and support your license. We use them only for that, and we don't sell or share them.

This website

This site is served by Cloudflare. It uses no cookies or analytics of its own. Cloudflare processes standard request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site. The checkout is loaded from Paddle.
